Hand harvested from our estate vineyard at the start of September. Fermented naturally including as small portion using carbonic maceration. Aged in 15% new Canadian oak, 30% 3rd fill American oak and 55% neutral barrels for 10 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulphur. A small quantity of no sulphur magnums were also bottled.
An alluring nose of candied cherry, red licorice, cinnamon and raisins. On the palate soft tannins, a very smooth palate and medium acidity that carries the flavour through to the finish.
